Tropical Storm Eta Update

Dear Valued Guest,

In response to Tropical Storm Eta, the National Hurricane Center has issued a hurricane watch and tropical storm warning for the St. Pete Beach area. This means that hurricane conditions are possible and tropical storm conditions are expected within the next 48 hours. To allow our staff to effectively prepare for the storm, hotel services will be scaled back as follows:

  • Our beach cabanas and services are scheduled to be suspended through Thursday, November 12th.
  • Jimmy B’s Beach Bar outdoor patio will remain closed through Thursday, November 12th. The indoor bar at Jimmy B’s will remain open until 5pm on Wednesday, November 11th  with reduced entertainment.

We will continue to closely monitor this situation as more information regarding potential impacts to our local area becomes available. Beachcomber will follow all guidelines set forth by the City of St. Pete Beach, which may or may not necessitate evacuations and closing the resort to ensure the safety of our guests and hotel staff.

You can find official forecast details via the National Hurricane Center website, http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/, or by tuning into any of our local news stations available on your in-room TV.

Thank you and stay safe.
